I'm not normally interested in romance or fantasy books but this was pretty good. I really enjoyed the world building and the action but I feel like the characters were a bit cliché and there were times when I was rolling my eyes from some of the dialog. I'm still deciding if I'm interested enough to read book 2 but either way, I did enjoy just how well the book was able to flow and it was easy to enter the fantasy
