Light Bringer by Pierce Brown

5.0

5/5 ⭐️

This was the book I’d been anticipating for so many years after finishing the first 5. Dark Age is my undisputed favourite of the series but this might be my close second.
I was nervous and anxious about what would unfold.
I didn’t need to be scared. I should’ve trusted my favourite author because Pierce truly is an incredible story teller.

I laughed, I screamed, I wailed. Multiple times throughout this monster of a book. But the last 100 pages broke me the most.
Despite that, there is so much hope. So much love and so much sorrow.
This book truly is the bringer of light. After Dark Age, hope blossomed and I felt it all throughout this book. From every word, every character interactions, every scene of combat. Just undying, unrelenting hope.

I will never not cry reading this book. And I’ll probably reread it again tomorrow.

My heart is heavy, but my soul is healed.

Hail libertas

P.S Lysander au Lune, you are a little pixie cunt and I hate you (:
