The art and paneling is very detailed and colorful. Dialogue is disjointed at times with the plot being a little confusing but I think that added to the story. We, like the main character aren’t sure how to proceed and what leads to pursue- the end goal isn’t clear.
It’s a very sad and hard story to read. And unfortunately rings a bit too true in today’s realities. Seeing both sides (Palestinian and Israeli) and how they deal with the ongoing conflict is harrowing to say the least.
Glad I read this as it was a “quick”, digestible read but the story will stick with me. The importance and often overlooked aspect of HUMAN interaction and connection is highlighted here. These are peoples lives!
