I enjoyed that this novel took its time and told the story in a well paced but engaging way. The characters were well developed and I enjoyed the past and present parallel storylines. There were some twists I definitely didn’t see coming and some I did but I enjoyed the journey even though I was pretty clear on the destination. Overall a very well written and enjoyable story.
