Pathogenesis: A History of the World in Eight Plagues

If you are a true historian most of this information is not new. There are tidbits here or there that I found interesting and learned for the first time, however, a lot of it is surface level, basic knowledge that those of us who teach or research regularly will already know. All of that to say, it is a great introduction read for those who are new to studying history and pattern recognition. I really enjoyed the last chapter on how poverty plays a role in the global stage. I plan on using that chapter in my contemporary world problems class!
