We bought the Clarkson’s farm books for my dad as a father’s day present from us and the cat and i decided to have a read. This book is an extension of the show and is good for a light read to pass the time. It only took me around 2 hours to read as there’s not much content and lots of empty pages stating the season and month, with cute drawings. Originally i would have rated this book 3 stars and then there was an interesting (?) comment suggesting a link between vegetarianism and high suicide rates in farmers. There were more comments about the left wing, lgbt people and more that seemed unrelated and uncomfortable to read. I’m interested to see what other comments Clarkson will make about the ‘avacado eating people’. Overall, i did enjoy the content about farming but this book did give me the same feeling as reading political memes that old people share on facebook.
