The Last Murder at the End of the World by Stuart Turton
4.0
This is a cleverly imaginative sci-fi novel with a murder mystery that must be solved if what remains of the human race is to survive.
Humanity is at question as we read on about one of the scientist's utopian vision and their bold attempt to eradicate all violence and selfishness in humans. A hopeful and grand idea of a new world where everyone gets along with no hate or greed. Total harmony, sounds perfect right? But at what cost to achieve this?
Although this was mostly a entertaining read, it does get you thinking and questioning society and how we live today.
How will we face when we are 'at the end of the world'?
I enjoyed this novel and will not hesitate to read other books from this author.
