I really enjoyed this sequel and I think the character building was well thought out. However, I feel like Redrinna really went backward as a character during most of this book. I found myself slightly rolling my eyes at every point in the book where she'd snap at her friends or ignore the gem. I understand that grief and rage can really mess with someone, but I feel like it was too much. I can't wait for the next book because I think she's going to be the Redrinna I loved from book one again! The rest of the story was awesome though.

The village was awesome and I loved hearing the stories of their growth. I'm excited to read the next installment!!

PS Kyvo is the absolute best character!
