The Wedding Menu by Letizia Lorini

5.0

She's done it yet again. Did anyone imagine Letizia Lorini was capable of surpassing Desserts for Stressed People, her last book? No, not me, but I'm thrilled that I was proved wrong. The way Letizia writes genuinely draws you into the narrative thereby rendering it easier for you to experience every emotion. Dual timelines have historically been difficult for me to read through and keep retain my interest. However, Letizia is establishing herself as the queen of dual timelines, and I absolutely love them. They are always flawlessly written and an absolute delight to read. Ian and Amelie are without a doubt my favourite couple of hers. Their relationship feels incredibly raw and genuine, and I absolutely value it. I appreciated how this book portrayed what relationships could look like in reality. Not simply some once in a lifetime fairytale. I'll be keeping a close look out for her next book and can't wait to experience it. Last but not least, I want to thank Letzia for giving me the opportunity to NEVER look at butter the same way!
