By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept: A Novel of Forgiveness by Paulo Coelho

2.0

In my opinion, not one of Coelho's best. While a peaceful read, I didn't find the characters or story to be memorable or impactful as some of his other novels. Pilar and her unnamed love were very flat and generalized characters; as a result, I found myself rather indifferent to their fates and mentally snoozing as I sped through the book.
