Swimming at Night by Lucy Clarke

I’m grateful I’ll never understand how love can easily turn to hate between sisters. It was nice to see Katie go on this journey to understand her sister and putting in the work. It honestly pained me the way they spoke to each other, I understand why but it hurt nonetheless.

I appreciated how flawed all the characters were because in the grand scheme of it all, it’s not about a single choice or action, but a string of them over a period of time. The circumstances leading to the end had me holding me breathe, it felt suffocating and just made me sad for everyone. 😣
