I Will Teach You to Be Rich, Second Edition: No Guilt. No Excuses. No BS. Just a 6-Week Program That Works (Second Edition) by Ramit Sethi
4.0
OK, I get that Ramit Sethi's prose is not for everyone. Is his sense of humour a little obnoxious at times? Sure. But this is the most practical, hands-on approach to finances that I've come across. Thank goodness. He explains everything- from picking a bank account to different kinds of investment portfolios- in the simplest terms. I spent my 20s not giving my finances a second thought- as long as I could pay for everything I needed, I didn't care. But turning 30 made me realize that I want to be able to retire, and that day could arrive as soon or as far-off as I wanted it to. IWT helped me get a handle on budgeting, paying off debt, and investing and I love hearing about finances from another millennial. There is no shame here in spending on what you love- as long as you've made space for it.
