Bright Side fans, protect your hearts. This is no “bright side”, but it’s the most perfect follow up to where bright side left off. This left off right where Bright Side ended and I loved it. I needed to see this thing through with Gus, and I’m glad we got to follow along and see the rest of Kate’s friends as well. My one problem was Gus’s love interest, Scout. She was nothing special to me. I feel like she was the opposite from Kate in the worst way.
