i started this a million years ago and couldn't really get into it but like a month ago i picked it up again and was just like. so drawn in. its such a lovely simple little story, with such an interesting perspective. i loved getting this insight into auri's life, the way she moves through her world. it's definitely slow moving, and absolutely don't go into it expecting it to further the plot of the main trilogy. most of the negative reviews of this i saw were like 'brooo where was kvothe i hate this dumb woman' etc etc but that not what this book ever claimed to be. it's just auri
