I had been waiting to read this book for a while but already knew I was obsessed with it. I really enjoyed the world, the creatures, the magic system and the characters as well. Arioch and Aheia are all hard edges and seem to be the only ones able to wear each other down. I cannot wait for the next book in July. The ending is what made it for me, my little chaotic heart was just reveling in it. A lot of this book was beautifully chaotic. I appreciate that most because I can usually suss out what's going to happen fairly early on. It was a wonderfully stressful dark romance and that is my sweet spot. I just have to figure out what to do until July. 😅😅😅
