Wrath by Ella James
4.0

im really conflicted because id give it a 4.5 but i have to round down. This is book is REALLY long. The audiobook alone is 20 hours long. I spent the past two days trying to finish this one and if it weren’t for the voice actors I most definitely would’ve dropped it. It’s just really long. There are some chapters im like “why is this here?” and others where I wish the book would pick back up again. HOWEVER I think the author does a great job establishing the characters, their strengths and their flaws, they seem like real people and I really like that. I’m also glad the parents were okay with them only because it’s fiction, their whole relationship being approved so easily like that was really weird and kinda anticlimactic.

i think theyre codependency is a lil toxic. they pretty much couldnt deal without one another. I wouldve like to see them being able to grow and live a little without having the other as a clutch to hold it together since they met so young and all.

all in all, audiobook is 10/10 and def makes the story much better to digest.
