You Think It, I'll Say It
by Curtis Sittenfeld
This book was a quick and enjoyable read. These stories focus on individuals that seem incredibly realistic- no doubt most people reading this novel would have an easy time thinking of who each story reminds them of in their real life. I often wonder if writing short stories is as easy as reading them. These quick little snippets of life are nice and refreshing, so much so that I occasionally wish for a full-length novel. But would that be possible? Would I even enjoy it if I got my 200 pages of Casey and Kirsten? Or are these little snapshots the most interesting parts anyway- much like our own lives?
