Two deeply intriguing and mysterious short stories. Especially Legend of the Sleepers has a lyrical, evasive quality that fits the ancient (?) mysticism of its subjects and feels utterly dreamlike and yet earthy and dusty. They're very recommended to people who either like that kind of writing or find different takes on religious practice interesting! It's only 2 stories, but it really makes me want to look into Kiš's longer works!
