The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton

4.0

Truly lovely novel. The Age of Innocence is the second novel I have read from Edith Wharton. It is quite a good cadence of movement throughout and her social observations of New York City during the gilded age intriguing.

Perceptions can be blindsided and love can fog it as well. Moreover, the secrets people keep from loved ones can be complicated and one can never know by how much.

The ending was so sad and great.
