When I tell you I devoured this book, I mean it. I read this all in one day. I never expected that I was going to enjoy it as much as I did. Truly shocked.
While I loved it, it's full of issues honestly. The lore is a bit clunky to dive into initially. The writing voice was, as others have said, a bit pretentious as well. There's a ton of grammatical errors through out and I really felt like that is easily avoidable. I also was really let down by the resolution of the conflict.
Does something need to be a masterpiece for me to enjoy the hell out of it? No. I loved this honestly. I think it's fair to critique but at the end of the day I had fun and that's what mattered!
