Wow this was a ride... I'm pretty sure that this book is 95% fiction. Unless it was intentionally done so, because what are the odds of a mixed race (he identifies as black but is 100% Brazilian Indigenous) boy who went to a private school in 1960s/1970s Scotland (which would probably narrow down to 10 people who fit this criteria lol)
who went to Beirut in the early 1980s and happened to kill a rich Eastern European (possibly a Nazi's assumed identity in South America) and his child, and not get caught?!

Throughout the book, his wife threatens to leave at the thought of a mistress (which he did not have but was out there killing people). Still, the moment he confesses his true job, she stays with him because she also lied to him (had an affair), and they stay together because they're even.

On a positive note, I want to shout out to the audiobook's narrator ( Ben Onwukue ), who was a lot more credible as a hitman reading his memoirs than the author himself.
