I really wanted to love this book but I just couldn't fall in love with it. Well... I couldn't really relate to Krissy.
The cover and title and snippet made me curious as to this book and series. However, once I started listening to the book... Okay how do I put this? Have you ever met a person that asked you out on a date and you agreed to go because they sound fun and cool? Then comes the date and you realize you made a rash decision and have to push through the awkward moments... Yeah that's how I felt when listening to this book.
I kept listening hoping it would get better, but I was let down.
Without going into details, Krissy was a self-obsessed, inconsiderate, jerk. I felt like it was unrealistic that people would not object or stand up to her when she would outright ask them personal questions regarding the victim.
I can't say that I'll completely write off the entire series, based on just one book. So, once I get over the slump of this book, I'll check out the next one.
