so many people i know loved this book (and it’s been all over booktok) when will i freaking learn. i love a romance book i really do but when it’s endlessly popular on booktok i should know it’s not for me.
it was good! i cried at the cheesy parts and laughed at the silly ones. first of all, the time line was soooooo rush. i am A Slow Burn Girl at my core an this very obviously was not that. the plots with the moms just felt meh i was like sooooooo over both emma and justin’s moms plot lines by the end.
also i did not like it how emma called it getting small, i understand the meaning and this is a very therapy coded way of speaking but eh idk i found it annoying i can’t lie. maybe im heartless and insane idk probably! or maybe i just relate to emma, who knows!
it’s was cute, there were good parts and bad. such a quick read which i always love to get me out of a little slump, otherwise tho not my fav very middle of the road for me. :/
