The Two Lives of Lydia Bird by Josie Silver
2.0
This is book which oscillated between like and dislike for me. It depicts the grieving process and person well. If you need to support someone who is grieving, you could read it to understand them better. But don't read it if you are actually grieving. It's may take you too far back. It's less hopeful and more intent on depicting that state. It will brings tears and underlying fears. The overall idea is kind of farfetched and kind of promotes hallucinations.
It's too big, could have been crisper and after a while it drags on. And yet one wants to complete it. There are some good bits and then lots of plainness.
