Gutted, much of this story left me gutted. It was unexpected. It was shocking. Boy did my heart have work for the HEA. Making the sadness tolerable--The Assassins and their wives. Didn't realize how much I had missed Elli. The Assassins are screaming for a re-read.
8/10/2019 Listened to the audiobook. There is a new narrator and it took awhile to get into her voice and inability to create different voices. . I didn't like her nearly as much as Lucy Malone. I even checked the next book to see who would be narrating it--not Lucy.
