This book had all of the great elements of a regency romance, plus the amazing magical elements, too. Some of it was a bit slow, as anticipated for this style, and it took me some time to have any sort of fondness for the main male character, but that was the point of the developing romance. I loved seeing the main character develop and change, bit by bit. The fairy tale themes and story vibes in general were really fun, and I enjoyed this book a lot. I’m looking forward to the next two in the series!
