The Winner's Curse
by Marie Rutkoski
This is a rollercoaster of a book. It starts off gently and a bit bland. And just like a rollercoaster it builds up. The climb gets bigger and bigger and there are sudden turns you didn't expect. And in the end of the ride you just go "WOW" with a big smile on your face and a great feeling.
Telling the story from the two protagonist gives me a fuller view of the story. The details for their "world" is not much but the building of the characters, their story and how they think is in detail.
I love that there is leveling in the antagonist... They just get from creepy and pervy to greedy and heartless to powerful and (lacking for a better word) evil
