An easy and addictive read. The writing was very simple and straight forward - the plot was interesting and I wasn’t expecting the cult element. Felt that there needed to be more detail in the lead up to David being in control of the house but understand it was written from the POV of a teenager which made that difficult as they weren’t privy to all side conversations. Was interested in each of the three characters and timelines equally but felt the ending was a little bit rushed and maybe a bit of a let down?
