I thought this book had been published in the early 2000s. Once I finished it, I found it came out in 2020.
I'm honestly flabbergasted as to how this story was published in 2020.
I get that the blatant sexism and misogyny couldn't be edited out of the story because of when it is set, but there was still so much that should not have gotten approval for publication.
The only reason this is not a 1 star review is because of how evoking the writing in the horror and shock scenes was.
