Whew! Kate King surely knows how to write a book that I'm gonna love. It's a Beauty and the Beast retelling without feeling like it's getting shoved in your face. There's little subtle nods to other media that aren't as hugely obvious either (Daemon's hand thing??? Mr. Darcy would be proud). I never felt like I was bored while I was waiting for something to happen nor did I feel like I was rushed in to everything. This was an absolute delight and I will 100% be purchasing this when it comes out for my Beauty and the Beast obsessed bestie! Thanks, Kate, for the ARC! This review is obviously completely honest and I will continue to gush about this one whenever I have the chance!
