The Sinner by Shantel Tessier

4.0

If you're the one who enjoy a long list of trigger warnings...this one might be for you.

Being honest I didn't like Sin for the 70% of the book but oh the 30% made me shed actual real human tears. I cried more than once and I don't cry that easy.

I was not very fond of Sin at the beginning but as the story drew on I was invested and I didn't realise in my mind how I went from "lol he's okay" to "he's such a pure heart".

Elli was supposed to be his. From the beginning. He was to claim her.

My favorite part was when Elli offers her brand for Sin...iykyk. AND with Easton...baby didn't even think it through and instantly sacrificed himself for what he wanted and that was...touching.

I liked Elli and Sin as the characters but together as a couple, maybe not so much? Maybe I'll re-read and form a better opinion.

The smut was spot on but the real deal was the plot twists. This had the best plot twists from the 3 books and it was also the most emotional from my pov.

I messed up the order of the book series of "The Lords" and read this one the last. Which may also be a reason why I didn't like Sin that much. My relationship with him will be love him but as a friend...after reading the sacrifice, I'm staying loyal to him.
