summary: Logan and Mattie, co-stars in an upcoming romantic movie, have to deal with each other after a rough start. Logan is deemed a "bad boy" while Mattie is supposedly a golden child, and production thinks that them starting a fake relationship will boost the movie's positive PR (and logan's image)...
y'all, this book was so good!!! it does sound like kind of a silly premise, but it was so much deeper than a typical fake dating/Hollywood romance. the book tackles (with so much grace) topics of child and sexual abuse, homophobia, and how trauma affects us throughout life. I really loved this book for so much more than the romance (which i was rooting for the whole time)!!! and the ending was the perfect amount of sweetness. i highly recommend!!
thank you to the publisher, Kacen Callender, and Netgalley for a free copy of this eARC in exchange for my honest review.
