I have mixed-feelings about this one. It's still getting 4 stars for the writing, but the plot as the story progressed got a bit tired and just okay half the time.

Although I've yet to see this movie, it has a slightly similar premise to Promising Young Woman but a better ending (thank you, Wikipedia) than the movie. So if you liked that movie, I definitely say check this book out.

This follow bit is only a small gripe I have, nothing that would take away the reading experience for anyone but made me groan a couple times.

There was one good male character throughout this whole thing (Drew), which wasn't I necessarily expecting but with how the story goes is understandable and I should've seen it coming. Given the nature of everything by the time we get to 65% percent (give or take, scribd doesn't give percentages).
