The good-
Finally, Fain’s story. As usual w SK, there is so much backstory behind Fain that we were unaware of.
Series plot is progressed.
All of our favorites return.
The bad-
SK has just gotten too predictable. There isn’t even the slightest bit of worry when a character is DEAD because they are NEVER really dead. Every time a series character is pronounced dead, we find out that they are really alive. This isn’t even really a spoiler because it’s her pattern. She does it in practically every book. It takes all the suspense out of what would be intense scenes.
