“I take a drink of my coffee and close my eyes and cry because life can be so fucking cruel and hard, and I’ve wanted to quit living it so many times, but then moments like these remind me that happiness isn’t some permanent thing we’re all trying to achieve in life, it’s merely a thing that shows up every now and then, sometimes in tiny doses that are just substantial enough to keep us going.”

Wow! Just wow…. First off I found it hard to pick just one quote to put in the review because there are several that I utterly adore but this one speaks to me more!

This book is honestly a masterpiece! I felt so freaking much for Kenna (mc), there was a deep ache in my chest that stayed with me throughout the book and I still feel now I have finished, I cried so hard throughout the book and still feel emotional now thinking back over parts of it. Kenna’s pain is reflected on so much it makes it almost impossible to not feel her pain with her, her loneliness breaks you and her desire to get to her child or give her the best thing no matter what she has to go through is so admirable. Honestly CoHo had no right to make me feel this way!
