The tension between Otto and Raven. You can just cut right through it. Otto has always looked out for Raven. Though, he had to put Raven in the little sister category since she is his best friend’s little sister. These two have been through a lot. I just love how protective Otto gets. Raven is sassy flower shop owner. She had to overcome a horrible childhood until her brother, River, saved her when she was nine and lived with River and his friends (including Otto). This small town, romantic suspense is a bit of a slow burn. You will get a cameo by few characters from other books by A.L. Jackson. Little Nolan will warm your heart and bring a smile to your face.
