The Very Merry Murder Club
by Robin Stevens, Serena Patel
The Very Merry Murder Club was a rollercoaster.
The stories were a bit hit and miss, some of them great, some poor, and some just average.
The editing wasn't the greatest. I found a few inconsistencies in the stories that jarred me but could have been easily fixed.
I did enjoy the fact that the stories had representations you don't see often. My favourite had to be the first story, 'Shoe-Dunnit'. I loved the fact that there was some autistic representation.
Honourable mentions have to go to, 'The Frostwilds', and 'The Ticking Funhouse' which both created interesting story worlds.
