This was a slog for me. I really wanted to get into it, but it really didn't speak to me. It is, in my opinion, so similar to the Lord of the Rings that it's impossible not to compare the two. Maybe I would like this book more if I had no connection with LOTR, but it's impossible to say for sure. I will not be continuing with the series, but will definitely look up what happens to Perrin and the wolves as that's the only aspect of this story I enjoyed.
