I hesitated at the sheer size of this book - 805 pages - but it was worth every line, paragraph and chapter. Once started, I hated putting it aside.
What a fabulous way to end this wonderful series! Although there are lots of characters which twist and turn, the story flows well and the prose, as always, is beautiful. The final chapters - Julian's book - were a fitting conclusion to a magnificent tale. Quite simply, I loved every minute I was reading it.
