This was good but it wasn't spectacular. It did a really good job pulling me in from the very first page and making me excited to pick it back up again. If I had the time I probably could've read this all in one sitting. I can't really point out what I didn't like about it but it just didn't give me that feeling a really good book does. I think maybe it was the writing style. I think the writing style was almost not descriptive enough. I prefer a more show don't tell approach and this leaned more toward the tell don't show side. The ending was kinda rushed but there is a second book so I guess it makes sense. I did really like Jess and Sara's relationship as well as her relationships with Kipps. I'm glad at least a few people weren't utterly horrible. I'm not sure if I'll read the next book anytime soon because the dystopian vibe of this kinda gives me anxiety but maybe at some point I'll read the sequel
