Wrestling with Werewolves by Hazel Mack

3.75

I really really really wanted to like this book more than i did, however the events that happened didnt necessarily align with the characters wants which usually isnt  a problem but in this case left me pretty confused.

While the writing and the creation of the relationship i think was done very well, the story and plot itself left me feeling like there was something i was missing, and maybe i am missing something. The book is labelled as a stand alone in the series but it feels like it would be best to read the other books before this one, there may not be repeat characters or a continuous plot throughout the books but i do think it would give the reader more time to get into the world and how it works. There isn't much building or creating of the world in the book itself as it already exists in the other books, but if you label your books as something that could be a stand alone, then i would like a tad bit more world building - but that's personal.

The anal play was a shock to me i will be absolutely honest, it wasn't something i expected and quite literally came from nowhere.
