You'd Be Home Now by Kathleen Glasgow

5.0

I’m conflicted on how to rate this book. I don’t love it, I don’t think this book is a book that you can love. But feelings were definitely felt I was practically hysterically sobbing throughout the last 100 pages and couldn’t put it down. I will be reading this book again, it’s heartbreaking and it’s real. I could feel Emory’s desperation, her need for love, for her brother and to be seen. She enveloped me in her feelings. I really love how Kathleen can make the reader feel like they’re living the characters life, sitting on their shoulder experiencing every little event with them.
