Did not finish book.

I started to read this, but the author's name was familiar; I think I followed her on Twitter once upon a time. Then, someone in an ace group I follow mentioned the failure of ace/aro rep, and I came to the reviews. Holy Lord, what a mess. I've stopped reading white authors writing POC characters for less than what this author did. I'd already hit a couple over-uses of brown, dark, umber, midnight skin references anyway. Seems like it was a failed attempt at allyship without any of the work needed to pull it off.
