This wasn't my favorite Nora Roberts book at all. It started out promising, but the middle of the story was a lot of boring detail about Morgan's new life. I wanted to like Miles, but he was really just an abrasive personality.

The "proposal" was just awful. I don't buy that someone like Morgan would have fallen for a miserable brood like Miles. I think the storyline had the potential for a lot more action and suspense with Gavin, but instead, it was just a whole lot of surface level filler that ended with one chapter of suspense.
