Bravo!

What a fun couple to end the series on. It’s hard to pick favorites now that the series is complete. It feels like we’ve spent such a long time with these amazing characters, and it’s bittersweet to see it come to a conclusion. It’s hard not to feel like we really did become part of the team—the family.

This one starts off as your classic , “Oops I didn’t know who you were” hookup. Hudson Rome is your typical playboy hockey goalie. He’s toned down his shenanigans since the previous books, but isn’t afraid to let loose with a meaningless one night stand. So when he meets stunning Juliet and hooks up with her, he’s thrown for a loop when she’s the one that slips out on HIM before he can even pull his pants up and the way he can’t get her out of his head.

College junior Caroline decides to have a little x rated fun with the guy she’s just met, fake name included... And then realizes her mistake later when “Romeo” waltzes into her dads office. Her dad gave her a strict rule, don’t get involved with his team. But like a forbidden fruit, the temptation is there. She should be busy trying to pass her classes. She doesn’t have time for a player that’s clearly off limits.

Here’s what I loved: Hudson and Caroline were so fun. They’re both a bit wild and down for anything so it was an exciting match up. The heat between these two was intense. The chemistry is off the charts right out the gate, and it just gets better and better from there. They have a double digit age gap, but nothing concerning enough to make me scream call the cops. These two are victims of Insta love. More so Hudson than Caroline. He’s definitely falling for his coaches daughter first, but she’s close behind. The way these two were completely obsessed with each other despite their “forbidden love” was scrumptious. Hudson is a broody protective mess over her and Caroline has finally found her knight in shining armor.

Here’s what I wish there was more of: Though the ending was warm and fuzzy (No seriously, cuteness overload), I wanted just a tiny bit more of all the other characters. We get a small taste of it at the end with everyone reuniting, but it just made me nostalgic and crave a little more time with them. But I’m just being greedy. This was such a cute end to the series and I’m so happy with the way each of the stories played out.

It’s been such a fun ride and I’m excited to see what’s next for Maren Moore. The biggest thank you to her and Katie for the ARC. It’s been an honor being even the smallest part of her team.
