I'm not sure if this was actually a little choppy compared to the first two in the series, or if it just felt that way because of the breaks in how I read it. Still really enjoyed it and really like how magic works and how they use it in their investigations.
I'm glad we got some movement with the team dynamics and thought the new additions were handled well. They could get very interesting.
I'm a little worried that we're about to get some stalling with the magic plot line, so I'm starting with the sample for Book 4 before I commit...of course, I did that with Book 2 and it's been my favorite so far, so hopefully that's a good sign!
