I’m confused why this book was rated so highly when many people had the same complaints as me: a) the character are unlikable despite the fact that they’re complex b) due to their flaws the main characters are unlikable - specifically Sadie. 

I will say though, that I’m glad Sam and Sadie never got together. I think I would’ve DNFed if that were the case. 

I also want to mention that I liked the things the author wrote about when it came to the character’s thoughts and feelings around gaming.
