When She Returned by Lucinda Berry

Who doesn’t have a morbid fascination with cults? That was enough to hook me from the get go. I picked up on the major twist, that Kate was planning to bring Abbi back to the cult, BUT I saw it happening in one of two different ways, both better endings than the original if I do say so myself:
1. Kate offers to exchange Abbi for Shiloh in order to save Shiloh from becoming one of Abner’s “soldiers.”
2. Kate plans the kidnapping of Abbi, but she is also the one to secretly get in touch with Dean and the FBI in order to set up Ray and bring down Love International.
Still enjoyed it, though.
