I really enjoyed this book as a sequel to AGGTM! It wasn’t as thrilling as the first novel, but sequels usually aren’t in my opinion. The main character has gotten darker with each novel so it’s been exciting to see her development. I like that the novel also follows along with Pips investigation in real time, it provides transcripts of interviews, pictures of “evidence”, emails, etc so you can see it all too.
The plot was good in this one, but not as jaw dropping. I really felt like the twist of who “Layla” really was, was not as satisfying and felt kind of sudden. I wantedCharlie and Flora to be more developed. Other than that, I did enjoy this!
