An interesting experiment of the sapir whorf in fiction. I don't totally buy into that hypothesis, but the book isn't only linguistics. The world building was fun and kind of distinctly retro.  Cool to see diversity in old fiction that isn't the offensive kind (this is bc it is Delaney writing it)
